Reiki - $80I set aside 90 minutes for every client, as this allows a full hour of treatment and a brief conversation before and after every session to help focus and meet my client's needs. Please note that energy sessions (your time on the table) can vary from *45-90 minutes.
*In cases of a complete 90 minute Reiki session ($120), I always check in to make sure clients are okay to continue. |
Lunchtime Recharge - $45

30 minute Reiki Session, when you're feeling the need for a quick pick me up in the middle of a long day. Great for tension headaches, everyday computer users, or restless sleepers.
Also great for those who would love to experience energy work for the first time, but are not sure if a full session is right just yet.
This is the perfect lunchtime treat, but please enjoy any time of day. Your body will let you know when it's time to recharge.

Experiencing Reiki

A Reiki treatment is not intrusive and clients do not remove any clothing.
My massage therapy background leads me to gently place my hands along the endocrine system, major organs, and the chakras of the body or any specific area requested by the client where there may be blockage and/or pain. However, touch is not necessary, merely hovering over the body has the same affect. This is especially helpful when a client is in severe pain, has had trauma, while working with acupuncture, or simple doesn't like being touched.
What you will "feel" during the session varies... most people feel Reiki as warmth, others as hot energy. Some experience it as cool or cold energy, and some feel nothing at all. If you feel nothing, this does not mean you are not receiving Reiki, only that your particular sensitivity level may not be quite as intense as others. Reiki energy continues to flow even after the treatment, and often will be felt for days or weeks afterward.
After the treatment there is a slight chance that you will feel slightly light headed for a moment, gently easing yourself off the table is important. Most of my clients, and myself included, compare a Reiki session to the feeling of just having had a wonderful full body massage, and experience mental clarity almost immediately after.
